After repairs are complete, we prep all parts for paint by using a 3m dual action sander to feather edge and sand all parts for paint. We prime all parts with two component primers and finish sand before the paint process begins. We use all base coat; clear coat finishes such as house of color, pearl bases, three stage candies, and clears. We also use a lot of axonnobel, lesonal brand of European paint systems, and pro air clears. After painting is complete, we let parts cure before the last stage of the polishing process, which consists of wet sanding all parts with sanding grits from 1500 to 2000 by hand. Then a final sanding with 3000 grit trizac da discs before buffing all parts to mirror finish with 3m extra cut rubbing compounds. This gives the parts buffed nearly 100% reflectivity after completion.

When we set custom graphics on sport bikes or Harleys, everything is done in sprayed colors. The designs are laid out using 3m blue fine line graphic tape and each color is laid out in the correct order per design. This produces a very exact separation of colors for whatever design we are working on. After colors are laid out, all parts are clear coated with up to four coats of high solids clear and left to cure. Additional buffing follows using the process as described earlier
